New Orleans Rebuilding

Join the Vineyard Mercy Response team as they bless the community of New Orleans that is still feeling the impact of hurricane Katrina. Most of the efforts of Mercy response has centered on recovery and rebuilding work. Much of the focus is on rebuilding homes for families, but there is the occasional request for house gutting.

Impact:

In late July and early August 2008, the youth went on an Everyday Export to Puerto Vallarta. The High School group and the Junior High School group each had a week with the Lehmans.  Here is the text of a newspaper article written about the impact made by our Junior High School group.  A couple of the Junior High youth had this to say as well!

Nicaragua

We will be partnering with Arms of Love (part of Vineyard USA) and the La Rocha church in Jinotepe, participating in church and street ministry as well as in community outreach. There will also be several opportunities for Servant Evangelism especially given that we are going the week after Christmas.
