 Everyday Exports! - exporting everyday people on short-term missions to help church plants If you are interested in becoming an Everyday Export, browse the list of future exports below. Click on the name of the trip to find out more information about that particular export. Also, you click on a link to a past export to see how God impacted those that were part of that export. Export Descriptions: Custer, SD Join the Custer Vineyard by participating in Spirit of Love Outreaches/Service Projects such as groups loving on the under resourced, food drive outreach, passing out water, and car washes. New Orleans Rebuilding Join the Vineyard Mercy Response team as they bless the community of New Orleans that is still feeling the impact of hurricane Katrina. Most of the efforts of Mercy response has centered on recovery and rebuilding work. Much of the focus is on rebuilding homes for families, but there is the occasional request for house gutting. The specifics of the tasks in which you will participate will depend on the projects that are being worked on at the times of your visit. Puerto Rico Join with missionaries Ed & Pam Chilcott in San Juan and Marvin and Cuche in Mayaguez in reaching out to the people of Puerto Rico. We will be running a kids camp both weeks (the first week in Mayaguez and the second week in San Juan). We may also be doing some renovation/rebuilding project work as well as servant outreach. We will also be giving away water, candy, etc. on different days and helping with feeding the hungry. Information for the 2009 mission trips to Puerto Rico is coming soon! Sri Lanka Please contact Suzanne Barslund for more information on this oppurtunity. Puerto Vallarta Join Ric and Joy Lehman in reaching out the poor and under-resourced. Activities generally include handing out water at the dump, passing out popsicles/toys in the poorer areas, as well pouring concrete floors for people that just have dirt floors. Each Puerto Vallarta trips will have other activities as well. Vacation Bible School in July, Servant Evangelism during Thanksgiving, etc. Information for the 2009 mission trips to Puerto Vallarta is coming soon! Impact: In late July and early August 2008, the youth went on an Everyday Export to Puerto Vallarta. The High School group and the Junior High School group each had a week with the Lehmans. Here is the text of a newspaper article written about the impact made by our Junior High School group. A couple of the Junior High youth had this to say as well! Nicaragua We will be partnering with Arms of Love (part of Vineyard USA) and the La Rocha church in Jinotepe, participating in church and street ministry as well as in community outreach. There will also be several opportunities for Servant Evangelism especially given that we are going the week after Christmas. Spring Break 2009 Information for the Spring Break 2009 mission trips is coming soon! Disaster Relief Join the Vineyard Mercy Response team as they bless the communities throughout the USA that are still feeling the impact of the storms (tornadoes, hurricanes) of Summer 2008. Most of the efforts of Mercy response has centered on recovery and rebuilding work. More information about specifics on this opportunity to follow. Adult Missions Trip - November 2009 We are planning a short-term mission trip for adults in th November 2009 timeframe. More details to follow soon.
